Mr Evripidis Mantoudis is a fertility expert- obstetrician and director of Gennima IVF, Medically Assisted Reproduction Unit and Cryopreservation Bank. After his graduation from Athens Medical School, he specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology in London and became a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Great Britain. He specialized in IVF at the London Fertility Center, one of the largest IVF clinics in the world, where he served as a Consultant.
After 10 years in England, he decided to return to Greece: "From the first day of Gennima IVF, 2007, and every day, we work hard, with dedication to increase our patients' success rates," he explains.
His philosophy
He states that he always wanted to study obstetrics. "I wanted to help women hold their babies in their arms. But what if a woman can’t get pregnant? IVF specialization came natural for me, it was the next step. For some couples a pregnancy is taken for granted; however at least 1 in 8 couples has difficulties. So now I'm focused on solving infertility issues and helping the couples to have a positive result in their treatment”. Some couples have very serious infertility problems caused by major surgery, hereditary diseases or many previous failed IVF tries. This is where the doctor's experience and the choice of the best treatment strategy are crucial. We have found, however, that the good psychology of couples can become an important ally. Even the most difficult situations are dealt more easily and more effectively when the patients' psychology is positive, with optimism but also realistic expectations. His philosophy for each patient:
-- Personalized approach and treatment- every couple is unique!
-- Passion for every couple’s positive result
-- Attention to the smallest detail
-- Simple, clear and honest information
-- Couple’s care by a specialized team: doctors, midwives, embryologists
-- Unparalleled patient service from the whole team.
Our goal is to have the positive result with the first try with our team. 7 out 10 couples succeed and have a positive result with their first IVF treatment at Gennima. At the same time we want the IVF treatment to be a positive experience for our patients without unnecessary stress. 9 out 0f 10 patients say that they were satisfied with the way we served them during their treatment, regardless of their IVF treatment result. Even if the couple’s try fails, we want our patients to be happy by the way they felt with our team.
