A big “Thank you” to Mr. Mantoudis, Ms. Koukoura, and the entire team at Gennima IVF.
Thanks to you, we became parents and we have our little angel. A year ago, my husband and I came to Athens to find a fertility center. Our first appointment was at Gennima, and we didn’t need to go anywhere else.
The clinic’s organization and the care they provided for their patients was great. Mr. Mantoudis and Ms. Koukoura are exceptional scientists and, above all, wonderful people. We decided to have our treatment with them and trusted them from the beginning.
After a hysteroscopy we went through IVF in March.
I must admit that I was very negative during the IVF process, as everything started to go wrong. While I was waiting for my period to start, I lost my beloved aunt. I came to Athens for the funeral and had my period that very morning (after a few days’ delay). I rushed to the clinic early in the morning for the first ultrasound, as it was Friday. Then came the long weekend for Clean Monday and the holiday of March 25th, and I was afraid that we wouldn’t make it in time for the oocytes.
We ended up transferring 2-day embryos. The rest never developed into blastocysts, so I lost all hope. 12 days later, I got a positive pregnancy test. The problems continued throughout my pregnancy, but it seems that everything happens for a reason.
Today, I have the most beautiful premature baby by my side.
We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts, you made our dream come true!
