The reason I want to share my story is because we do not belong to the average age group expected to face fertility issues and because I want to give courage to all the couples about to start their IVF journey or those who have started already.
We started trying for a baby 3 years ago. My husband was 31 and I was 30 years old. We thought that it would be easy (because of our age) but time was passing, and we didn’t have a positive pregnancy test. We started to investigate the situation and unfortunately due to 2 surgeries for endometriosis, my fertility had been significantly affected.
We kept trying for a while and the month we decided to talk about IVF I got pregnant. Our happiness didn’t last for long because at the 8th week we were informed that the pregnancy wasn’t developing as expected.
At this point a friend with severe fertility issues talked to me about Gennima. From the 1st call I felt so nice. They showed great understanding.
Mr. Mantoudis and his team were totally honest explaining to us that because of my medical history I might need a little bit more time for the positive result. But with patience and persistence we would make it.
We transferred 1 embryo on our treatment according to Mr. Mantoudis’ instructions, which I now hold in my arms since the day it was born (28 days ago).
Infertility is about all ages and with the proper treatment the positive result is not so far!
Thank you very much!
