Theoni Pastroma
Theoni received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Molecular Cell Biology from Royal Holloway, University of London and her Master of Science Degree in Human Reproductive Biology from Imperial College, University of London.
She has completed the ACE Certificate in Clinical Embryology at the Hewitt Centre for Reproductive Medicine, Liverpool Women’s Hospital, where she worked for six years before undertaking the post of laboratory manager at Gennima IVF in 2007. She is a registered Clinical Scientist by the Health Professions Council in the UK and a member of the Panhellenic Association of Clinical Embryologists.
Theoni regularly attends international scientific conferences and is constantly informed regarding progress in the fast-growing field of embryology. She has also attended specialised training workshops on Preimplantation Genetic Testing in London, Madrid and Barcelona.
She is responsible for the day to day operation of the laboratory with strict adherence to protocol and attention to the slightest detail. Along with a big team of embryologists, scientific knowledge and state of the art technology, the laboratory performs treatments of the highest quality, always maintaining discretion and confidentiality, while providing care for embryos and patients as well as all the required information regarding treatments.
Her main goal is to maintain high success rates and to ensure that our embryology laboratory is comparable to the best labs around the world.
