Sometimes, a simple “thank you” just doesn’t feel enough…
With my son’s 1st birthday approaching, and on Mother’s Day, I find myself reflecting on everything that brought me here.
Today, I’m holding my little miracle in my arms…and I owe that to some truly special people.
I want to say a huge thank you, from the bottom of my heart — a deep and sincere thank you to my doctor, Dr. Mantoudis,to Dr. Elina Pitsouni, who was beside me throughout my journey, and to their entire wonderful team.
A doctor with immense experience, knowledge, and genuine dedication — someone who inspires trust from the very first moment you meet him.
Embryologists, midwives, doctors, front desk— a team who were not simply by my side, but who truly supported me through every moment of this difficult journey.
Exceptional professionals, but above all, wonderful human beings who consistently show empathy, patience, and sincere concern for every patient.
I began my IVF journey fully aware of how challenging my case was because of my age. There were moments when I felt broken, moments of fear, moments when I doubted everything.
And yet… I made it.
Today, I hold my son in my arms. My own little miracle. My light. My strength. And in that moment, you realise that every single step of the journey was worth it.
If there’s one thing this journey has taught me, it’s that the right team gives you far more than medical guidance.
They give you faith when you begin to lose it, strength when you feel like giving up, and hope when everything seems impossible.
And to every couple still trying:
hold on to hope. Don’t give up.
Because yes… miracles do happen.
And the right team can make all the difference between “maybe” and “we did it”.
With endless gratitude…
